Project: On-going comprehensive development of single-family strata, townhomes, commercial and apartments. Mixed uses including waterfront park and cycling routing/facilities.
Challenges: This former railyard required extensive collaboration with geotechnical engineers and architects to develop the site. JEA worked with the City on the design of the Galloping Goose Trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail, to ensure all stakeholders’ needs were met. The first phase of townhouses was also completed, and work continues with phase six as JEA liaisons with numerous contractors and maintains the overall project database.
