J.E. Anderson & Associates began as a professional land surveying firm in 1959. Early on, J.E. Anderson & Associates maintained as a major client the Ministry of Transportation and Highways, for whom numerous extensive surveys were completed. Several of these projects included locations throughout the Fraser Canyon, the Patricia Bay Highway, Nanaimo and Parksville. During the same period as these major surveys, the firm rapidly expanded into the area of land development. In the early 1970’s this growth was successfully accomplished by bringing into the firm a professional engineering staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to take on these two complementary fields.
Over the years, the firm has evolved into a multi-disciplined full service land development company capable of supplying proven development advice, preliminary planning services, subdivision design, infrastructure design and client representation at all levels of government and private hearings. In short, J.E. Anderson & Associates is a company capable of transforming complex sites into a complete and saleable product.
